(1) The Council shall have a separate fund and the funds shall consist of the following amounts:-
(a) Amount received from Government of Nepal.
(b) amount of support, grant or loan received from foreign government, association, organization or person or international association, organization.
(c) Amounts received from native persons or associations, organizations.
(d) Amounts accrued from investments made by the Council.
(e) The amount of service fee received for the service provided by the Council.
(f) Amount received from other sources.
(2) According to clause (b) of sub-section (1), before taking a loan from a foreign government, association, organization or individual or an international organization, the bank must obtain the prior approval of the Government of Nepal. But the Council does not need to take the approval of the Government of Nepal to receive funds in the form of assistance or grants. The Council should give the information about the support or grant received to the Government of Nepal.
(3) The amount accumulated in the fund of the council should be opened and deposited in a bank designated by the council and the council may also open an account and deposit the amount in a foreign bank as required.
(4) All expenses to be incurred on behalf of the Council shall be borne by the funds of the Council.
(5) The operation of the fund account of the Council shall be as prescribed.
